ROLE 1 (South Wales): Polymer Engagement Manager – (2.5 days)
ROLE 2: (North Wales): Polymer Workshop Manager – (2.5 days)

Join us in turning the plastic problem into separate polymer solutions; designing and remoulding new things from old material. In separating polymers for reprocessing, this is the first project of its type in Wales and could pave the way to creatively reducing plastic waste across Wales whilst helping communities, with the community having access to the project.
As postholders you will be responsible for leading our local goods for local good approach to plastic by carrying out one of the two roles above. During the initial 12-month trial period, supported by the National Lottery, it is envisaged that both roles will overlap on occasion the project develops. The posts are offered part time with an initial 12-month contract, whilst our Polymer Cymru partnership actively seeks further roll-out support, pending our anticipated favourable outcomes for the project.
If you are able to engage and involve a wide range of sectors and people of all ages, either in a small workshop setting or engaging schools and community groups with knowledge and opportunities, then we would love to hear from you.
Both postholders will offer ‘train the trainer’ style support, to build both the knowledge and the hand on skills to keep polymers separate and utilise them for to their full potential locally. As a team, you won’t preach change, you will enact it.
As part of this exciting opportunity, you will be employed by Circular Communities Cymru CIC. We are looking for:
A Workshop Manager and a Communications Manager to be hosted at CREST Cooperative in Llandudno Junction in North Wales
and:
Another Workshop Manager and a Communications Manager to be hosted at Welcome to Our Woods in Treherbert, South Wales. (four part time roles in total).
